In recent days, the Minister of Housing and Land Management (MIVIOT) Mario Etchelecu, signed a contract with the Panamanian Association of Brokers and Real Estate (Acobir), which represents Global Housing Foundation Panama. Through this agreement, initiatives to facilitate the purchase of low cost houses for families who have no financial resources are impelled.
* The idea of this agreement between ACOBIR and Housing Ministry is providing the opportunity for those families who have difficulty accessing credit on the purchase of a property.
* It has an initial capital of U.S.$ 250,000, for which mechanisms to apply the “Roof of Hope” program will be sought.
* This agreement will, among other things, reduce the housing deficit and raise the level of socioeconomic development in underserved communities.
According to information published by the MIVIOT website, Minister Mario Etchelecu announced an agreement with the Panamanian Association of Brokers and Real Estate (ACOBIR) that will aim to provide an opportunity for those families who have difficulty accessing be signed a credit on the purchase of a property and the same is to give them the procedures when carrying out this process.
